stEp tO bEcOmE An EdUcAtIOnIst

this song give me spirit and motivation when i enter matriculation session 2004/2005 and push me to study hard, when I heard this song I always think what will happen to me if i fail in my matriculation.. 'andai ku terbuang tak diterima, andai aku disingkirkan, ke mana harus ku bawakan, ke mana harus ku semaikan cinta ini..'

my cousin: 'you must struggle since first semester if you want to go further '

..from the first day register, I study hard and stay up until Subuh..pray may Allah give me the best result ever..

my sister : 'try if you fail but never fail to try'

Here I want to share advice from my uncle (ayah cik, Bangi) when i went to his house for my interview session(UUM city campus K.L) last year. There are three level of education we need to achieve if we want to become an educationist but i forgot the midle step..

1. pedagogue (the lowest level)
2. Polity
3. philosophy (the highest level of education)

Pedagogue-->

schoolteacher; an educator, One who instructs in a pedantic or dogmatic manner.

My uncle said that this is a lower stage of education when we,as a teacher only know how to teach student based on book without experience and wide knowledge. This is a very poor basic in education. If we look back during our learning education, we only learn to ensure we pass examination with flying colours without know how to use it in the real word. Sometimes, I always ask my self why i learn each subject??? although.. i don't know how to applied it? MIRACLE! Basically, this situation occur in basic technical level only without high imagination how the process was built such as cleaner, lower level in organization where they didn't use their brain too much.

To overcome this problem my uncle suggest we need to know four basic thing which contain input and output

1. Reading
2. Listening
3. Writing
4. Speaking

input (reading and listening)

Process (writing your own journal), without this, you cannot get the idea how to produce your output (in kelantan version my uncle said: tok tau nok kara kok mano ideo klu tok ajin nulih gak, pendek kato mung tak yoh duk ngiga ideo nok mai cari mung klu mung tok ajin nulih!!!)

output (writing and speaking)

input--> most of process occur nowadays built from input. Without input, we always selected all of the quotations.

then, input will process to produce output (writing and speaking). Trust me??? That's why I try to write everyday in my blog although it is a stupid writing with various grammar mistake..who's care? haha.. i don't care as long as i can improve my self every day..

Middle stage: Polity-->

1. A particular form or system of government.
2. The condition of being constituted as a state or other authorized community or body.
3. Government or administrative regulation.
4. A state or other organized community or body.

this is the process occur at the middle stage and let us see what is the highest level of education:

Philosophy-->

1. Love and pursuit of wisdom by intellectual means and moral self-discipline.

2. Investigation of the nature, causes, or principles of reality, knowledge, or values, based on logical reasoning rather than empirical methods.

3. A system of thought based on or involving such inquiry: the philosophy of Hume.

4. The critical analysis of fundamental assumptions or beliefs.

5. The disciplines presented in university curriculums of science and the liberal arts, except medicine, law, and theology.

6. The discipline comprising logic, ethics, aesthetics, metaphysics, and epistemology.

7. A set of ideas or beliefs relating to a particular field or activity; an underlying theory: an original philosophy of advertising.

8. A system of values by which one lives: has an unusual philosophy of life.

when we achive this level, we were look around with open eyes and heart, it does not take to much to convince one that ALLAH is truly GREAT. We are blessed that we are given wisdom and a sound mind that could differentiate between right and wrong. This separate us (humans) from animals. Therefore, the knowledge that have been bestowed upon us should be used to guide us and enhanced our believe in HIM...
